Most wedding photographers will invite you to choose your package. Bronze gets you five hours and digital files. Silver adds a second shooter. Gold throws in a printed album and the creeping sense that you've done the right thing. Platinum, for reasons that remain unclear, also exists.

Others go the other way. The Essential. The Classic. The Signature. The Little Love, The Big Love, The All The Love. The Sunrise. The Sunset. The Whole Enchilada.

Few want to be a Bronze Bride. Fewer still want to be an Enchilada.

You're not here for any of that. No packages. No tiers. No sense of having been assigned something that somebody else invented.

Just this.

£1,000 for the first two hours. £250 per hour after that until 21:00. £350 per hour after that.

Summer weekends - May through September - are 8 hours minimum, at £2,500. From getting ready through to the first dance and well into the evening. Which, for a sunny summer Saturday, is exactly right.
