"I'LL BE SINGING YOUR PRAISES FOR YEARS TO COME"

“I’ll be singing your praises for a long time to come, and I don’t know if it’s only weddings you photograph, but we would love to book you again in the future! We’re planning on having a BIG party every two years to celebrate our anniversary. Tell me you’ll be there??!”

"Hi Graham,

How are you?

I am so sorry it has taken me so long to write to you. These last few weeks have been a whirlwind and I’ve barely had time to think. I cannot believe Andrew and I have been married for almost 7 weeks, already! I feel incredibly rude for having not spoken to you in that time.

I want to say thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! Not only do we LOVE our photos, but you were amazing to work with. I was so anxious on the morning of my wedding, but within seconds of you arriving at the hotel, I felt at ease and completely comfortable around you – and as though we were friends, even. I was panic-stricken when getting ready, I was late to leave the hotel, I rushed everyone into cabs, and I stomped my way up the stairs of the registry office in a panic – and none of it phased you. And, you still managed to capture the best bits of an otherwise stressful morning. We’re blown away.

The feedback from our friends and family has been amazing, too. My mum was very touched that you spent so long photographing my brothers in the hotel lounge, and she was proud as punch that you took the time to photograph her shoes and bag. J

My favourite photos are the ones you took during the speeches. It was that point in the day that Andrew and I were finally able to relax and start enjoying the day – and I think it shows! I’ve never seen myself look happier and I still can’t look at everyone’s faces, without feeling emotional".

Carol-Ann and Tom were married at Chelsea Old Town Hall with drinks, hugs and dancing at The Lordship, Dulwich. Carol-Ann and the girls got ready at the exquisitely lovely Number Sixteen (go on, treat yourself) and got everyone in the mood for the party by hiring a red London Routemaster bus and plying everyone with seemingly endless Champagne. Now that's the way to do a bus ride.

If you're planning a laid-back and fun-filled day that's all about giving your guests the best day out ever here is a cheat sheet on the venues and suppliers. I hope I'll get to meet you one day soon!
