Winter Wedding at Tylney Hall

A wedding at Tylney Hall in the middle of Winter. It doesn’t get much more Christmassy than that! A bitterly cold day was warmed by the cheer of Teresa and Shane being with close friends and family in this wonderful hotel in Hook near Basingstoke, Hampshire. Although this wasn’t my first visit to Tylney Hall it was my first Winter wedding there and just two days before mid-winter with a 3.30pm wedding ceremony it’s the kind of challenge that is guaranteed to keep any photographer on their toes. My style means no flash photography, at all, ever, so using just the available light (or lack of it) to keep the ambience of the surroundings produced a wonderful set of photographs that (I hope) really captured the spirit of the occasion.
