Bury Court Barn Wedding Photographer {Laura & Ben Get Married}
Bury Court Barn will always be a bit special for me. It was where I photographed my second ever wedding and also where I first shot a wedding in a documentary style.
Laura had decided to get ready in the Oast Cottage at Bury Court Barn, a beautiful apartment in the restored Oast House which always seems to be a place of calm, perfect for the Brides morning preparations. This part of the day can set the atmosphere for everything that follows so spacious and peaceful surroundings are highly recommend. For the ceremony we moved on to the Church of the Holy Cross, Binstead where, unfortunately the Vicar would not allow any photography at all during the wedding ceremony itself.
Back at The Barn at Bury Court there are of course no such silly restrictions on photography and with such beautiful grounds and nearby countryside the options are plentiful. With such a beautiful October afternoon we made the most of the late summer Sun and stayed outside till the last possible moment before being called in to be spoiled rotten by Jacaranda, one of my favourite caterers.
After the excellent wedding breakfast it was time for the speeches which certainly didn’t disappoint and later, after a dress modification Laura joined Ben on the dance floor in her mini wedding dress to dance the night away to great live music from the band.
